Sharon’s Home Stays is a professional house and pet sitter - offering a service located with in the Cotswolds, I am based between Chipping Norton and Stow on the Wold. I offer a variety of services, including staying at clients properties and caring for pets of all sizes, ensuring property security, watering house plants and gardens, checking mailboxes, and managing deliveries. With a lifetime of experience with various animals and a personal understanding of property ownership, I aim to provide exceptional care and peace of mind for my clients. My passion for animals and commitment to reliable service sets me apart from others.

For your peace of mind I do have an enhanced DBS certificate, fantastic references and reviews. I have full pet insurance which will cover every eventuality and both animal and human 1st aid levels 2 & 3 and a lifetime of experience with all types of animals.

Welcome to my corner of the internet!

I spent my early working life working with Competition horses in the UK and internationally, cold mornings began to take a toll, so I had a huge a change of direction and began working for Royal Mail as a Post Lady, which I thoroughly enjoyed for 20 years, I felt like I was a pillar of the local community during this time, but towards the end of my time there age was creeping up on me and I needed to slow down just a bit, after leaving Royal Mail and a brief venture into retail, I've found myself helping out friends with house and animal sitting, which then turned into a very busy time for me, I enjoy looking after pets in the the wonderful community in the Cotswolds.

I’m happily married to a shepherd who works with Daylesford Organic, and together we’re raising our 17-year-old son Charlie, while enjoying the antics of our 8 year old loyal Labrador Pepsi, pictured here.
